Every trip and every individual receipt passes through different statuses in Spesenfuchs. The history shows you when the status changed and who changed it.
Which statuses occur depends on your plan:
- Spesenfuchs PRO: “in progress”, “approved” and “exported”
- Spesenfuchs TEAM: additionally “under review” and “rejected”, because trips and receipts go through an approval process here

Where can I find the history?
- Open a trip or an individual receipt in Spesenfuchs.
- The history is shown in the detail view on the right, below the overview.
If you use Spesenfuchs in the browser on your smartphone, tap the i icon at the top right of the trip or individual receipt. The overview and, below it, the history are then displayed.
What does the history show?
Each status change appears as a separate entry, with the current status at the top. For each entry, you see:
- the status and the time of the change (for the current status with “since”),
- the person who changed the status,
- in Spesenfuchs TEAM, the comment, if one was entered during the approval process, for example the reason for a rejection.
Notes
- Status changes from before the history was introduced are also shown, but without the person who changed the status.
- The “Comment” field in the trip or receipt data does not appear in the history. Only comments from the approval process are shown there.
- The Spesenfuchs app is used to capture receipts and does not offer a detail view. You can therefore only see the history in the Spesenfuchs web application.
