A trip requires a description, the selection of the vehicle type for determining the mileage rate, the date on which the trip took place, and the number of kilometers driven (one way). Only whole kilometers can be claimed.
If you would like to record a round trip, activate the “Round trip” toggle. In this case, you must additionally enter the return date. When saving the trip, Spesenfuchs automatically creates a return trip with identical data (description, vehicle type, and kilometers).
For the calculation, a flat rate of €0.30 per km for cars or your individual mileage rate, and €0.20 per km for motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, and small motorcycles is applied.
If you activate the Company car checkbox, no mileage allowance will be calculated for this trip. In this case, the trip is documented only and will not be reimbursed.
This is useful if the kilometers were driven using a company car. Since the costs are already covered by the company, there is no entitlement to the statutory mileage allowance.
By entering the start and destination, you can calculate the route and number of kilometers automatically. To do so, enter the start and destination and select the Calculate button.
The start and destination fields provide your address, the company address, and the destinations of your recent trips. As soon as you start typing in the fields, you will receive additional suggestions from Google Maps.
