Accommodation costs are usually covered by hotel bills. This may have to be reduced by the amount of breakfast included (see Reductions of the per diems for meals).
If you cannot show a hotel bill, e.g. because you are staying privately, you can also apply a flat rate for the accommodation costs. In Germany, this amounts to 20 euros. However, this is only allowed for employees, not for self-employed persons.
